There are positively oodles of things to do during a holiday at the Farmhouse. Hopefully you'll be able to choose your top five a bit more maturely than we did.

Even without the day trips you could comfortably fill a fortnight. Here's just a few ways to keep yourself occupied:

Sun yourself in the garden with a book, loll in the swimming pool or admire the excellent views from the balcony with a glass of wine.
Make it the holiday accommodation you come home to every day, pink-faced and exhausted after hours of trekking, mountain biking, rock-climbing, kayaking, horse-riding, canyoning, skiing....
Nip off to nearby Bled for lunch overlooking the lake.
Boat out to Lake Bled's medieval island church then head back to shore, climb up to the hilltop castle and gape at the wonderful views.
Drive into Ljubljana, Slovenia's gorgeous capital city, packed with cafés, museums, shops and wonderful architecture.
Take the train through the mountain to spend some time in the Soča Valley, home to the most beautiful glacial river, world class trout fishing and the best white water rafting in Europe.
Take a day off to catch your breath before heading to the spectacular Lake Bohinj, hike up the surrounding mountains or catch the cable car up to the top of Vogel and paraglide out over gorgeous Triglav National Park and the tear-shaped lake below.
