| Day 1 Drive or take the bus to Bohinj Lake. Walk around the lake, stopping for lunch at one of the restaurants to enjoy the view. If walking all the way round (11km) is too much, you can walk half way round & get the scenic boat trip back. Take the cable car up to Vogel & be stunned by the panoramic views both on the way up & when you get there. There are pleasant (and high octane if you wish) walks from the top station & a number of restaurants. Back at the apartment, relax with a book or swim in our solar heated pool. Stroll to one of our local restaurants for a delicious, filling meal. |

| Day 2 Drive or take the bus to Bled where you can hire bikes to cycle around the lake, or a rowing boat to visit the island, stopping for coffee. Linger in Bled to enjoy the fabulous views of the lake, buy some home made icecream or take look at one of the the shops selling a Slovene tradiotional home made honey product. Climb to the medieval castle high above the lake & enjoy a meal on the terrace with more unforgettable views. |

| Day 3 Canyoning, tandem paragliding, white water rafting, pony trekking, golf. Whichever activity you choose can be enjoyed this morning. Collect fresh bread, fillings and wine from our local shop for lunch then snooze the afternoon away by the pool. For an excellent dinner with views across Lake Bled, try the Vila Prešeren. |

| Day 4 The '50 bend road' trip offers superb views of the main Triglav mountains as well as great opportunities for exploring & walking. Take a picnic to a charming hidden valley near Trenta - the source of the famous Soča river. At Bovec more water activities are available down the turquoise waters of the Soča. Try some 'Burek' (boo rek), a delicious coil of pastry filled with meat or cheese, available from the local shops. Stop at Kobarid and visit the excellent WWI museum & walk up to the thought provoking Charnel House, containing the sad remains of 10,000 Italian soldiers. Wend your way back along the valley to Most na Soči railway station to catch the car train back to Bohinj. Be there by 6.10pm. The 45min trip up the valley, through many tunnels is a great way to round off a stunning day out. Stop at the 'Gostilna Batišt' (opp. railway station in Boh. Bela) on the way back for some excellent, wholesome food. Highly recommended. |

| Day 5 Another activity booked for today, or a lazy day? Your choice, your holiday. Perhaps amble through the woods from here to Lake Bled (45mins) and walk around the lake, take a boat trip out to the Island with its famous pilgrimage church and enjoy some Bled Cake (Kremna Rezina) & coffee. For the more energetic, walk to Bled via the beautiful alpine village of Kupljenik across the valley from here (about 4hrs). In the evening relax with some local wine an a good movie from our DVD collection. |

| Day 6 Drive to the traditional village of Kropa, once a centre for ironworks. Visit the museum (open 7-3pm) and enjoy walking around the village and learning about its history. Lunch at the Gostilna pr Kovač is recommended. From Kropa, drive up the mountain road towards Želzniki, stopping at the village of Jamnik with its church perched on the tip of a mountain ridge. This Alpine area has great walks, views and wildlife. Continue on through the mountain passes and valleys to the medieval town of Škofja Loka. A great place to stop and stroll, visit a street cafe and admire the restoration work. By a traditional Alpine felt hat from the factory here. Drive back via Kranj to Bled and Boh. Bela. |

| Day 7 Drive through the pretty villages around Bled to the start of the Vintgar Gorge. Take the circular walk through this dramatic river formation and over the meadows with views to Bled and the east. Stop for lunch in the village of Zasip on the way back to the car, or take a trip on to the small town of Radovljica a few miles away where you can visit the Bee Museum, see ginger bread being made and visit the 'big' house which now contains a music school and museum of the town. If you are lucky, students will be playing & you can enjoy listening from Marko's bar, just across the square. |
